Cultural & Historic Preservation

Historic preservation aims to protect, preserve, and conserve historically significant buildings, objects, landscapes, and other relics, such as cultural uniqueness, cultural values, traditions, and historical artifacts that have been passed down through generations. 

Fu Jen Catholic University inherits the characteristics of different eras of Catholicism in Taiwan, and the University continues to make contributions to the sustainable preservation of art and culture. Moreover, the University established the Fu Jen Academia Catholica to pass on the spirit of Catholicism through education and research. On top of that, the University contributes to the preservation of Indigenous cultures by preserving and promoting Indigenous cultures and establishing the Indigenous Students Resource Center. Lastly, the University constantly innovates art and culture to keep abreast of trends of globalization.
