Professor Cheng-shu Yang's research is focused on Interpreting Studies, Translator Studies, and International Medical T/I Studies. Currently, she is the director of the Graduate Institute of Cross-Cultural Studies at Fu-Jen Catholic University in Taiwan (Aug. 2013-). She also served as the director of the Graduate Institute of Translation and Interpretation Studies at Fu-Jen Catholic University from 1994 to 2000 and from 2006 to 2010. In December 2017 she received an honorary fellowship from the Hong Kong Translation Society. On August 1, 2018, she was awarded FJCU Distinguished Research Professor.
