Healthy Aging through Nutrition and Exercise

  Feili’s recent research focus is on preventing disability and dementia among older adults through exercise and nutrition education. The dietary and nutritional approaches of her studies are based on the importance of micronutrients and on the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory functions of food in chronic disease prevention. Her research interests include micronutrient nutrition, integrated nutritional assessment, and lifespan nutrition. Feili’s research team has been actively involved in innovative nutrition education projects, where hands-on experience is prioritized. Members of her research team have also shared the methods they have formulated with older adults in the community around FJCU.

  Currently, Feili is serving as the project leader in charge of revising the Dietary Reference Intakes stipulated by the Health Promotion Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare of Taiwan.
